at minute 6:31 ...turn the gemstone 360 degrees. I'm flumoxed. As a pilot we tease others telling stories about running into thunderstorms and turning 360 degrees to get the heck out of there. Maybe 180 degress would be what's wanted here too. And I am thankful for the presentation.

I am very grateful this popped up in my feed today! I buy my sapphires from a company in Thailand and when i was looking for my first Padparadscha sapphire, i was following a definition from a gemologist that the intensity should be light to medium. The BE Heated stones were very intense and they were all exactly the same color. They looked fake, or too good to be true, to me, so i chose one with just basic heating. I am now glad i did.

The distinction between natural and synthetic gems primarily hinges on perceptions of value that are somewhat illusory. A high-quality lab-grown ruby, for instance, created using the flux method, will typically surpass its natural counterpart in terms of crystal symmetry, color consistency, and the absence of structurally significant inclusions. Conversely, it is unlikely for anyone to admire a natural ruby with a large feather that breaks the surface of the table and express appreciation for what they might perceive as a charming flaw. These imperfections are not delightful natural signatures; they are defects, and aficionados of jewelry should not have to tolerate them. In this context, the valuation of natural gems is upheld in a manner akin to cryptocurrency. Once a critical mass of individuals comes to recognize that the advantages of synthetic gems outweigh those of natural ones in every aspect except for a fortuitous perception of rarity, the value of natural gems could plummet, akin to any investment predicated on erroneous beliefs. The fur market serves as an apt illustration of this phenomenon.

I would like additional information. Gem mining most of the ruby fracture needs to be filled with glass or other compounds to facilitate grinding. Glass that can be filled with ruby divided according to chemical composition, there are several types as follows: 1. Soda-lime glass 2. Borosilicate glass 3. Lead glass or crystal glass This type of glass has more than 24% lead oxide and has a high refractive index. 4. Opal glass 5. Aluminosilicate glass 6.Alkaline-Earth Alumino silicate 7. Glass-Ceramics 8. Crown glass 9. Flint glass 10. Bismuth glass Because lead glass has good optical properties but is not durable and can dissolve in water, acids, and alkalis when used for a long time. Therefore, choose to buy gemstones that do not contain lead glass and bismuth glass. Other types of glass the quality of gems will be different, such as bismuth glass. However, when purchasing gemstones, you should choose the type that does not contain glass contaminants. and be inspected with an X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) machine only because it can determine the amount of lead in percent. To consider the appropriate purchase price
